Yeah, the X1 is a good machine. Most laptops which have tablet factor or are very thin come with soldered memory.

I am not a fan of any brand, must I am a bit of a fan of business grade laptops. Like Lenovo Thinkpad, HP Elitebook and Dell Latitude / Precision.

I reckon you want something really cheap that is also really good :) Screen size and everything else doesn't matter that much to you?

Picture and speed matter most. Oh, and a backlit keyboard

For speed, most processors on the market will do fine for web browsing and basic tasks. You will need however an SSD.

For the display, you will need a FullHD (1920x1080) IPS display.

8GB of RAM is also recommended.

So I suppose these are your options: https://bit.ly/2JZN9ui

Maybe contact google or something? When i searched 'laptop search' i didnt see ur website. Increasing the 'priority' of your search will increase exposure. Also you can contact websites like laptop mag to provide a 'search laptop' option for them seeing as they dont have anything(laptop mag has a very very very bad search thing).

I think notebookcheck itself has data on the thermals of various laptops? Instead of putting it in specific values you can use vague categories like 'good/medium/bad' thermals. Of course its your choice as you are doing all the work :)

To be honest I want to be as exhaustive as possible when it comes to information on models. But one thing at a time ;-). For now all I need is for the website to get to be known by as many people as people, if you have any way of helping in that direction, it will be greatly appreciated.

I have got another suggestion, but this one is a bit far fetched lol. Is there a way to somehow group laptops in terms of how good they are at being cool(thermal properties). This idea is pretty far fetched as I have no idea where you would get data like this but it would be another reason why ur website is the best for laptop searching :)

The database actually is constructed in such a way that we could accommodate such information and even include it in our search. Let's say adding the entire feature with testing and all won't take more than a week. Problem is the data. I hope, that in the future, if the website is really successful and we get to review a lot of laptops, we will be able to add this information.
