        By all means, go for it. Some may be very interested in seeing it. There's no prohibition against posting "hackintosh" on the forum. There used to be, but we have since gained safeharbor protection of content. If by chance Apple complains, then we would take it down. By they haven't complained in years so, little worry there.

      today was reading a post yours, and I found your incredible knowledge and how you share it with all

      I have a doubt and I think you could help me.

      I have an HP HDX9494NR that is written on the touchpad on the side of the adhesive
      however underneath the service tag is written HDX9300

      in your opinion what changes on this model I'm about to purchase a HDX9200


      which the newest model? HDX9300 HDX9200

        The model numbers only reflect configuration and whether or not the unit is retail preconfigured or custom configured from HP. HDX 9200 are the first models to start offering Nvidia GPUs.

        2.0 have a hdx tagged under written HDX 9300 and another I'll get HDX9200 which of the HDX should I stay? nvidia which may be defective heard that the first 2008 are problematic

        I currently own a PAVILION HDX 9200 CTO Model: GW473AV#ABA. Recently I needed to replace the keyboard. I found the keyboard just fine but found that the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector had one side broken. Does anyone know where I could pick up one of these little jewels?? I would appreciate ANY kind of help.

      Hi Boss, I need your expert help, my hdx 9450ee just bricked from a failed bios upgrade. My question is. if it's ok to press the remote control power button instead of the usual power button when I do the WIN + B & power button pressing simultaneously? the power button of my hdx is not working anymore, i usually start up via the remote control power button. thank u very much!

        Perhaps. But if you touch the TV or "Q" button on the touch panel, that will start it up also. Getting things done simultaneously might be tricky. Report back with your results.

      2.0....OldMajorDave here... it's been awhile. Hope all is well with you and yours. I finally upgraded my DV4t-1000... as we discussed long ago and just put a Samsung 840 500GB SSD in it. All is well with the unit and upgrades but I had a few minor questions about SSD specific settings and posted them up in the Hardware>SSD forum. If you have the time, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the thread given your experience with SSDs and the DV5T. The thread is titled Samsung 840 500GB Questions/Tips. I take my daughter back to college for her sophomore year next wed and I really want to get this thing rock solid. Best, Dave
