Default Ubuntu 11.10, Thinkpad X220, 2 printers and a scanner

The major items to overcome are drivers that work for two printers and one scanner, all Canon. I haven't found anything to work with these, yet. Any solutions?

    Canon i960 inkjet printer
    Canon MF4370dn multifunction printer
    Canon Canoscan LIDE 90 scanner

The canoscan lide scanner should work with the genesys backend to SANE: SANE: Backends (Drivers)

Canon printers are not well supported, no thanks to... you guessed it, Canon. There isn't any Linux driver (or even any clue) on their website.

I didn't find either printer in this list: Printers by Manufacturer | OpenPrinting - The Linux Foundation

However gutenprint may work for your i960: http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/p_...d_Printers.php

List of Ubuntu Lenovo certified laptops. Not all are certified for the latest version so check the details.
    Macbook Air 13.3" (Intel Core2 Duo 1.86 GHz, 2GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Mac OS X 10.6.8)
HTC Desire HD (1 GHz Snapdragon, 768MB RAM, Android 4.0.4/Sense 3.6)

Thanks for the link. It's a shame there aren't many "certified" Lenovo notebooks. :\
