Ubuntu 11.10, Thinkpad X220, 2 printers and a scanner
The major items to overcome are drivers that work for two printers and one scanner, all Canon. I haven't found anything to work with these, yet. Any solutions?
Canon i960 inkjet printer
Canon MF4370dn multifunction printer
Canon Canoscan LIDE 90 scanner

Re: Ubuntu 11.10, Thinkpad X220, 2 printers and a scanner
The canoscan lide scanner should work with the genesys backend to SANE: SANE: Backends (Drivers)
Canon printers are not well supported, no thanks to... you guessed it, Canon. There isn't any Linux driver (or even any clue) on their website.
I didn't find either printer in this list: Printers by Manufacturer | OpenPrinting - The Linux Foundation
However gutenprint may work for your i960: http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/p_...d_Printers.php

List of Ubuntu Lenovo certified laptops. Not all are certified for the latest version so check the details.
