    ah heck, small change ....PS 8.04 comes with FF3Beta....in case you didn't know

    EDIT: changed std k menu out for Tasty Menu...much better

    Pixelot....when I installed 8.04, it the wireless stuff wasn't in yet. I ran my long cable from my router to the laptop, and it said there were a million updates , downloaded them, installed, and wireless came right on up. If you have the card I have in sig, you'll need to do this.

    strange wireless for me worked out of the box in Ubuntu 8.04 (4965 card)------- installed using wubi

    maybe kubuntu doesnt support it ootb yet

    yeah most people use that fancy stuff these days, they don't work the way I like to have things work (mainly no keybindings) so I use older stuff which works much better for me, plus they're not gaudy and don't waste resources.

    and sometimes I come up with themes that go really well: triton The window border I have right now (titanium) lets me change the colours of it, I set it to some colour on the background. I didn't bother to make a GTK theme which matches. I've got a lot of other window managers/etc. in that folder if you want to look around.
