Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
Yeah I'm with Mazzacre. Can we see some videos and even screenshots of some of the benchmarks? Settings, temps afterwards, everything included in the video please. And fraps of course for FPS
thanks

Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
Seriously?
Saying that to someone online who is going through everything to help you guys get some information?
The resolution will be playing a huge role here, with the 1600x900 of m14x, the gfx card would be crippled in frame rates compared to the 768p of the P330.
Before you throw such comments out, I suggest how you would feel if you were trying to help and people say those things to you.
Remember, this is an online forum, everyone is in it just to help others out, no money or benefits involved.

Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
Hey Natadiem,
Thanks for those, sorry for lack of clarity, i specifically was referring to skyrim and Dead island.. (I forget to write everything im thinking sometimes xD)
now.. as for you. If you read my post, i was very polite. Is it wrong to ask someone to provide some proof of their results?? If so then I can understand why this forum has such ludicrous results at times (not referring to Natadiem's). As for the resolution remark. Resolution does play a role, not a crippling one as you state it, but definitely a role.
That role however, isn't equivalent to the difference between a clock of ~520 and a clock of 770mhz core.
Now before YOU throw such comments out there, i advise you to THINK from the viewpoints of others. I do not personally know Natadiem, and i found something that appears to disobey the understandings of a component. These results had (and still have given i do not have the game he posted an SS of) no comparable proof, leading me to believe that the numbers may have been "guesstimated" and/or inaccurate.
And just so you remember, this is the internet. People can and will be whoever they want to be. For all we know Natadiem could be a rep from LG and I could be the King of England. My point is to remind you that people DO take money to write things on the internet. Specifically forums to advertise products in case you are too naive to realize that as well.
And yes, I did just call you naive. Next time have a reason before calling me out.

Take it however you want. We don't know him personally and it could have easily been seen as a guess, in which we just wanted to see statistics.
But youre right, I should start trusting people more. I was just the millionth visitor on a website, I should go claim my prize!
But Im very sorry Niatdem if we destroyed your feelings in any way, I just wanted see a video of Skyrim so I could see how it performs in different locations, and the exact results of some of the benchmark programs and ect. Sorry if it was taken as "Youre a big dirty liar and pics or it didnt happen"

Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
OK.
1. The GT 555m in the P330 has newer architecture than the m14x's GT 555m. That accounts for the difference as well as the resolution. Even though the clocks may seem a lot off, the architecture difference creates such differences per clock speed.
2. Knowing the above, and your "sounds fishy" comment made me believe that you simply believe what you want to believe. This is an online forum, you are entitled to your own opinions and beliefs. Now that Natadiem has posted his proof, you should believe what he has stated. I for one part, believe in what Natadiem has posted because I've seen his posts, his experiences, and the fact that we all share a common interest in this P330. As I don't have the machine to prove otherwise, I would believe what he posts, and would be thankful that he would even provide results because trust me, I've been around this forum for long and people promise things but never keep to their promise- benchmarks, screenshots, etc. Just the very fact that he is willing to give us information should be thankful enough, and even responding to your "proof" requests when he personally doesn't know you as well itself deserves an applause.
3. All things aside, I do agree that I may have been a bit aggressive and offensive to your comment, but I have seen the Envy forums with the Envy 15, people there just demand what they want to see and what they want to hear. The first one to receive the laptop has no obligation to do so, but people just request on and on about what they want to see and what they wish to hear, not so much as with a thanks. I may have been too hasty in judging you based on your last comment "Sounds fishy" as if Natadiem was trying to pull something, but I think my 1. gave some clarification as to how it could be possible.
Again, I'm on the side that we should all be grateful for anyone who is caring enough to run all these games and benchmarks, temps, and post them online for us to see. Having seen ungrateful people just hoarding the Envy holders with constant harrassment and endless requests without so much as a thank you, I guess I am really biased towards the forum right now.
