I'd expect a premium price for one of these... I hope LG choose to release this laptop worldwide!

No need for internal optical drives in this day and age.

Waiting for a portable high quality 1600x900 laptop? Sony Z13 is a portable high quality 13" 1600x900 laptop (and 1920x1080). Plus you get super-fast raid 0 ssd, core i7, blu-ray, gpu...
It's in the in-between time right now where the Z13 is a little hard to find and the Z2 is still a few weeks away. But still, I'm just sayin...
As far as this one having 1600x900, why do you say false hope? It may. We don't know yet.Vaio: Duo 11, VPCZ11, and TX770, Toshiba R700-s1310

Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
It seems to me that P330 is trying to copy MacBooks. The extreme minimalism, same stone-age resolution, glossy high quality screen. Besides, sudden change in resolution would also mean much higher price. I don't think they want to change the pricing of a laptop series that much.
Z is too expensive for me, it costs 2000€ where I live. The older Core 2 Duo version still costs over 1000€ which is insane. The new one will have SSD by default, so the base model will be $2000 in US.
Is the laptop I'm looking for possible to be affordable? I think so, I don't need a bunch of stuff that they put in Z (such as dedicated GPU).
