Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
Thanks Lee!!!
I could download the driver 290.36, I think it s not official yet.
The 295.18 driver immediately crashed my notebook.
So if I understand correctly, all I need to do now is to add this inf file with any driver from Nvidia?
Or should I redo this with each original driver?
I copied the inf on 290.36 and 290.58 and both could install.
So I tried diablo 3 beta and now it works! The game can be maximized and it s still really fluid even with 5 monsters on screen (I tried 5mn).
I will continue to make more tests and I will start the review thread...Current :
M18x R2 - i7 3720QM - 8gb - 7970m CFX - Micron C400 512gb - killer wireless N 1103
LG P330 UE70K - 13 inch with GT555M and i7 - MSATA and HDD - 8 gb

Just use that inf for a while. Most likely since this is newer version of GT555M, the installer haven't have the required hardware id in its inf yet.

Did we ever determine whether this was really worth importing? Is there going to be something comprable / better in Q1 2012? I'm really looking for something like the Z1 (great portability / battery life for non gaming functions) with an awesome screen / video card and heat management. The Z1 has a side vent so you can put it on your lap and use it without heat issues.

Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
Ambiant degree is around 20-22.
With furmark 1.6.5 (the donut benchmark) and with Prime 95 (basic benchmark).
The notebook went from 41 degrees idle for GPU to 65 degrees.
I made the test with furmark 2 times and 65 is the maximum degree.
I will post the CPU result shortly.
Also the noise is no problem at all, way better than the M14x.Current :
M18x R2 - i7 3720QM - 8gb - 7970m CFX - Micron C400 512gb - killer wireless N 1103
LG P330 UE70K - 13 inch with GT555M and i7 - MSATA and HDD - 8 gb
