Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
At that screen size, no. You will have to go up to 14 inch to get a quad-core processor, and 15 inch to get reasonable GPU performance.
The Vaio Z2's external GPU will most likely still need to plug into a wall, and even then, the performance of a 6650M is still lower than cards like the GT 550M in my laptop.Previous: Dell XPS M1330, Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 (2.00ghz), 4GB RAM, 250GB 5400rpm HDD, onboard Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS 128MB, external ATI Radeon 5870 1GB VRAM, $1200
Now: Lenovo Y470,Intel Sandy Bridge i7 2630QM (2.00ghz), 8GB RAM, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, Nvidia GT550M 1GB, $820
Desktop: SUN Ultra 40 Workstation,Dual Core AMD Opteron 2222 (3.00 ghz), 16GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate, 250GB 7200 RPM HDD, 1920*1080 Monitor, ATI Radeon 5870 1GB / Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 768MB VRAM, Free

Re: LG P330 (i7 + Nvidia 555m!)
How thick is this laptop? In millimeters and inches please.
I wonder why they didn't make it a 15 inch or gave it a 1080p screen. With a graphic card such as a GT555M and a 1080p screen they could have more sales.

Because there's already a bunch of 15" laptops with GT 555m. It's all about maximizing performance to size.

LG X-Note P330 Laptop Specs:
- 13.3-inch LED screen with 1366 X 768
- Sandy Bridge Processor with a choice of Core i3, i5 or i7
- GeForce GT555M
- There are 2 choices of memory storage, 4GB and 8GB
- WiFi 802. 11bgn, HDMI, USB 3.0
- 6 cell battery
- Has a weight of 1.72 pounds with dimensions of 315 X 215 X 21mm
On the Korean LG site it said hat it has both 64GB SDD and 750GB HDD. From what I see they somehow manage to add these two drives in this thin laptop. But I'm not sure from the small info I got. Someone help me out!
Just found my laptop for 2012

Unfortunately, the IPS models do not have an ETA.
I'm Korean, I know....
They only have the TN models right now, and the i5 model is priced around $1250~1300, while the i7 model is priced at a staggering $1900~2000.
