The funny thing is this machine is is comparable to the Razer Blade 17" which costs $2800, lol.

Aren't they offering a 1600x900 screen though? I'd be ok with 1366x768 if it was a high quality screen (IPS please?)

Yeah neither machine is really amazingly powerful though, both having dual core processors etc.

I think the GT 555M in the Razor is a full fledged one vs. a most likely crippled 555M in this one (basically the same as a GT 550M if you overclocked it)

But the Razor won't do well with the full HD res and a GT 555M... If you actually used that resolution, most games would only run on medium I think, but this laptop at 1366*768 will run most things on high

The cooling on the P310 was acceptable and, if the P330 has a dual fan cooling system, it should be more than adequate. I have yet to encounter anything that my Acer's cooling can't handle.

How "train wreck" is your 3830TG?

I have been thinking of buying one.
Coudl you tell us more on how bad it is?
    how about 4830tg?

    I don't own a 3830tg. With the throttling and battery issues, I don't recommend them. I have a 3820tg and love it.

PLEASE LG, offer this with higher resolution than the crippled 1366x768 norm with IPS option!

I just saw a Korean review of the the smaller P220 with an IPS display and it looks pretty amazing. If the P330 is more the same I'll be getting which ever one I can get cheaper here in the states(pending neither have any weird color accuracy issues).

Dunno why everyone's requesting 1920x1080, I actually like the 1366x768 size. It's kind of impractical to have THAT high of resolution on this small of a laptop, for both reading and gaming purposes.

Btw, has anyone found any notion of it coming stateside...this is THE perfect dang laptop...

1080p might be a bit high but 900p would be nice. It should be around 1080p in a 15" in terms of DPI and that look pretty good imo.

I heard it was supposed to be 900p, and, the 555M in the Razer Blade is the one with 96 shaders and GDDR5/128-bit bus, not the 144 shader GDDR3/192bit one in the M14x.

So 96 shader GDDR5 128-bit bus is nearly equivalent to 144 shader GDDR3 192-bit bus right? Too bad there's no 144 shader GDDR5 192-bit bus variation.
