THX a lot, those pictures show: its nearly twice as high, and the bezel is a lot bigger, but what worries me most: still single fan layout as on the first pictures from some months ago, and putting the HDD (service flap) and Battery next to the cooling system is never a good idea

But I'm really curious to see the actual product.

I wouldn't exactly trust those pictures over the product page on a store. The manual is old and there are some pictures in the manual there that are clearly the P420 or P220.

Those ones I included don't look like the P420, but they might be early P330 prototypes (There's a warning in fine print mentioning this fact in the manual).

I wouldn't worry about the single fan layout. LG's Single Fan layouts can dissapate a surprisingly large amount of heat while keeping the rest of the laptop quite cool.

I might go in Korea to pick it up... I have the P310 that I bought two years ago and I never had a problem.
The deal breaker for me is the screen quality.

- looks AWESOME, I'd buy two were it not for
a. screen 1366x768: yet again another manufacturer that insists in low resolution -- so PASSE in this day and age
b. no core i7 option
c. 6 cell battery only option

Looks like Samsung is the other one with a 14 inch and 1600x900 resolution, unless you want the wobbly Sony SA ... whoever dream that single hinge should be fired! -- urgently please

From my (very limited) understanding through searching in Korean websites:
There are at least 2 different models: one with i5 and the other one with i7.

On the i5 model, a picture suggest 7.5hours of battery life... Probably 4 hours in real life situation, this is mainstream today.

I am also wondering about the back lit keyboard. I think it would have been shown in the Korean selling website... They even put a flash to explain how the kernel lock was working so...

Of course, until we got a proper review this is all speculation at this point.

I contacted a friend who lives in Korea. My friend confirmed that it's available for sale. There is no news on the i7 version though.

With specs like that, do you guys think this laptop could handle recent games (Skyrim, Arkham City, BC3) on High settings? I got a friend going to Korea and I might get him to pick one up for me if it can handle those games.

Well I suppose that with the native low res and middle class gpu, it can handle these games pretty well (30-40 fps imho).
I think that the bench from the m14x with basic screen should give us an idea.

We still don't know which 555m it's using and whether the CPU throttles or not though.
