how to disable the fingerprint thingy..
hi guys
can someone tell me how to disable the "fingerprint thingy" that starts each time when i start my lappy up...i dont really use it and would like to stop it popping up everytime i start my laptop up ?

Try this:
Start>programs>thinkvantage>thinkvantage fingerprint software>control center>system settings>first tab.IBM Thinkpad T60

How about enabling it? I had input my finger prints, and when restarted a screen with options came up, but different give me enough time to make a decision - jumped to XP loading screen then password input.

That thingy you want to disable saves your data from thieves. 10% of all notebooks are stolen every year. Learn to use your fingerprint reader.

If I had any sensitive data on my notebook I wouldn't rely on the fingerprint reader.
