Lenovo t430s - fingerprint drivers+software not on website

Anyone know where I can get the lenovo t430s fingerprint software+driver? I have looked all over the site - i even tried different models (t430, t430si, even the t530) and have not found a download for them....

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The following Supported Systems are listed: ThinkPad T400s, T410, T410i, T410s, T410si, T420, T420i, T420s, T420si, T510, T510i, T520, T520i.

I wonder if they are in the process of updating the support pages for this year's models.

PS. Before you do anything to the hard drive (install Windows), save the C:\SWTOOLS folder onto an USB flash drive. When you update the drivers in Device Driver, point to that folder and tell Windows to search subdirectories.

1) i did find that page that was last updated on march 22... i even tried installing that version (for the hell of it) and while it did install the fingerprint software, the driver was not installed! l0l

2) as for saving swtools, like an idiot, i only saved the "drivers" folder from there and then reformatted the machine... i was able to get all the drivers for all of the 8 or 9 devices that popped up in device manager but i am missing this single one! i will definitely be more careful in the future! this was completely avoidable haha

One reason those drivers won't work is because those models have UPEK fingerprint readers. The T430 has an Authentec reader. If you don't have a backup and did not create recovery disks, you'll have to wait for the drivers to appear on the Lenovo support site.

^ thanks so much, that's what i came to terms with :| i just ran a thinkvantage system update too and even that didnt find the fingerprint driver. in fact, there were maybe 4-5 other drivers it didnt find...

i'll camp out on the lenovo support site for now....
