I will keep working this thread for a while, and I might start on a W520 one, because it is the other machine I am interested in.

Unfortunately, the Owners' threads are almost unreferenceable/unlinkable, which is why I tried to make this alternative, as an experiment.

I am unsure whether or not to include offsite links such as the Lenovo Forums, where I am controversial already.

I went back about 60 pages of posts, which is approaching necromancy. Rather than editorialize, I just tried to find threads that have a question that might come up again, an answer, or people trying to find one.
