    Default 3rd party vs. lenovo?

    hi all,

i'm looking to get a 2623-D6U sometime in the next two months, for school use. i was wondering which way i should go:

    1. 3rd party vendor: 1442 - 200 mail-in rebate + 0 sales tax = 1242

    OR

    2. lenovo, through an arrangement with my company: 1280 + 76 sales tax = 1356

note - if i go with option 2, i won't have the 30-day return option. on the positive side, i'll be dealing directly with the vendor, and won't have to deal with the hassle of the mail in rebate.

what would you do? is it still worth it to go through lenovo?
