Thinkpad X200t Core i7 ULV @ CES Intel
I found an interesting machine at the Intel booth at CES.
It appeared to be an x200t but had a Core i7 sticker. The machine had a trackpad on it as well.
It had the same style keyboard/trackpoint mouse buttons as the current x-series. There hasn't been any announcements on the x-series refreshes so hopefully this is useful to some of you. Is this what the x201t will look like?
The Intel rep told me there was a Dual Core Core i7 ULV with HT in the machine.
You can see from the images that it has 4 cores (2 physical and 2 from Hyperthreading) in windows. You can make out that it says x200 tablet as well. I can make it more obvious (legible) if you guys want more "proof".

Re: Thinkpad X200t Core i7 ULV @ CES Intel
Seems like a possible x201T to me. I'm a bit surprised that they added a touchpad, but kept the old style keyboard. It would seem like they would change both.
I'm curous how a ULV core i7 would compare to a LV Montevina. (both battery life and performance).

Re: Thinkpad X200t Core i7 ULV @ CES Intel
The funny thing was that this machine was not something Lenovo was showing off. It just happened to be noticed by a friend of mine at the Intel booth. He was talking about it after we were walking around somewhere else. And I was like no that can't be right. There isn't a Core i7 x200t... And lenovo hasn't announced anything for the x201 series yet! Sure enough the trackpad and the verification of the CPU cores confirmed it.
