Windows XP Clean Install

I was just wondering, along with that USB webcam hotfix, are there any other ones I should install because I just went through the add/remove programs and found out that there was a hotfix on the Lenovo website that wasn't installed. I was wondering if it's not too much to ask if you can post a list of the hotfixes you manually installed. Thank in advance!

Here you go, some of them you may have already installed. I found these in the SWTOOLS folder as well as the Lenovo website, if you google them you may find them.

NM, I found it . It was the 4in1 card reader.

I'm glad you figured it out. You gotta read the guide carefully; the order of driver installation is important.

Just out of curiosity, did the 4 in 1 card reader driver take care of those three unknowns?

Yep, the 4in1 driver too them out . Now i need a good spyware oo adware program to install. Already have NOD32 sercuity installed. Any suggestion?

I suggest Ad-Aware SE Personal (not 2007), Spybot Search & Destroy (uncheck TeaTimer and SDhelper), Windows Defender, and Spywareblaster.

All freeware and doesn't conflict with each other.

so what were they? I too am having the same problem I actually have 8 or so yellow question marks in the device drivers. They are as follows:

"Base system device" PCI bus 21, device 0, Function 4

"base system Device" PCI bus 21, device 0, function 5
"ethernet controller" PCI Slot1 (PCI bus3, device0 function 0)
"unknown device" On Intel ICH8M-E LPC Interface Controller
"unknown device" on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller
"video controller" PCI bus 0, device 2, function 1
"video controller" (VGA Compatible) PCI Bus 0, device 2, function 0

OK, Please dont dump on me, I honestly am suffering from a legitimate Migrain and am about ready to puke. I have done this type of things many times on OTHER computers, this one is for some reason kicking my butt!
