Re: Windows XP Clean Install Guide
Device manager lists an unknown PCI Device under the "IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers" group. However, when I right click there is no 'disable' option. Instead there is only is update driver, uninstall, and properties.
The found new hardware wizard also pops up every boot, even when I tell it now to remind me any more about this hardware.

Here is the requested screen shot.

The two unknown devices aren't really causing me any problems. They can be disabled and I haven't noticed any missing functionality.

Re: Windows XP Clean Install Guide
That did it. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
I had tried that Intel file previously, but before I was pointing the wizards just at the C:/Drivers folder. Selecting the subfolder specifically did the trick. Thanks again.
