Default How "exclusive" is ThinkPad in your environment?

It's about 99% Dell and other mainstream brands like HP, Toshiba, Sony, etc. at my school. How about yours?

I've never seen anyone using a Lenovo or an Asus, but I went ahead and got a V1s. Whatever. Mine outperforms all of them (except maybe x205).

My company is exclusively Dell Latitude, at meetings with others I see mostly Latitudes and HP business laptops, with a few Thinkpads thrown in. My college is mostly Inspirons.
    Asus F8SV for play
    Dell D830 for work

At college I don't think I've seen anyone with a thinkpad ever. The laptops I notice the most around campus are Macs.

Most students at my school have macbooks. Anyone who doesn't is usually a gamer. The school rents out Thinkpads to the CS kids also.

I've only seen one person use thinkpad ever and it was on the train (I live in London)

I think one it's the price in the UK, second it's most ppl in the UK prefers Dell HP and Sony.

When I was at uni, it's like a Sony show room, everyone uses Sony. But by the time I used a powerbook which was hardly seen in the UK.

I am constantly ridiculed by others because I do not have an Apple.

    Well...not quite...but close.

I am the only person I know that has a ThinkPad.

    Feels great though .

Every single student here (UNC) has a Thinkpad. That's 27,000+. It's convenient though. I forgot to bring my A/C adapter to the library one day so I go downstairs to the IT help desk and they just give me another one out of the tons they have.

Pretty much ubiquitous at my alma mater(RPI) - 600E, T20, T22, T30, T40, T42, T43p, T60, now T61. Every student is required to have a laptop, and the school subsidizes the cost of the Thinkpads.
