X40 758
Having trouble decide on a ultra-portable.
Anyone know anything about the new X40 1.5 P M 758 ? Is it worth it to buy a X40? or save a 1k get the Dell 700M (A real power house).
Would you guyz turn ur back on IBM-Lenovo and go for something like Dell?

x40s use a 1.8" hard drive drive, so you are stuck with a 4200RPM hard drive. One I'd look at is the Fujitsu s6231. It is still light at four pounds. It has a very good 13" screen. Has a modular bay for a burner or extra battery. You can configure one at Portable One. If you want to go really small, the P7010 is a good choice. The screen is 10.4". Has a modular bay as well. Fujitsus, like IBM, are well built. I'd look at a Sony Vaio T150 or Toshiba M200. IBM's sale has not went through yet, so they are still IBMs. Good Luck.
