Amazing speed , UPS Express all the way from Hong Kong (I wonder why they ship from there), although I select UPS Ground as my shipping option.

Mine shipped on 8/8, even though the ESD was 8/1, then changed to 9/17.

Apparently they got a bunch of WXGA+ screens in.

I placed my order for a T61 (7662CT) on 7/20 w/ an ESD of 9/5.

On 7/21 I received an email from credit services saying that there were problems in processing my order because my credit card declined the order, but that was because there were still THREE outstanding orders for T61s on my card that Lenovo had yet to cancel. I eventually got that resolved and they said my credit card order was successfully processed on 7/24.

After doing some more research that WASN'T mentioned on the Lenovo configuration page, I now want to change my Media Card reader to the PC Card Slot + Express Card Slot as the media card reader is NOT removable and completely removes express card functionality.

I have been in contact w/ Tim Supples on trying to find a way to change this w/o causing further delay. He emailed me back last Wed (8/1) saying that someone would be working on it & I would hear from them soon...it has since been over 5 business days with absolutely NO contact from anyone.

I'm glad to hear some of you with the 14.1" WXGA+ are receiving your laptops, but for people like me, who ORIGINALLY placed an order on 7/8...it's quite frustrating.

Just a heads up...I got my shipping info and it shows that it came straight from Hong Kong and no where else. Enroute to Louisville now.

Here's a fun fact: All packages from Hong Kong to Louisville on UPS stop in Anchorage, Alaska. Planes stop over for fuel, more packages, etc.

My order for the T61 with UWB finally shipped. Ordered on 07/20/2007. ESD 08/22/2007. I was told the other day I was put on the critical list. Good Luck everyone else. T61's and T61p's with UWB are finally shipping.

P.S. Have not received the email confirmation yet. I check the order status page. So, do not have a tracking # just yet. Shipped on 08/11/2007.
