yep it is for real. unfortunately, lenovo didn't give me the free upgrade to express shipping. mine is showing expedited service with an arrival date on friday. it is stuck in shenzen, cn at the moment. oh well, 1 week seems like a short wait compared to the month i waited for it to ship.

Ordered T61 15.4" on June 3rd and estimated ship date is the 28th.

Still waiting and have fingers crossed.

I have a pretty good feeling it won't. I think they screwed something else up with my order. I'm not sure what they did, but if you've read my other posts I got 2 false shipping confirmation emails on thursday. Nothing charged to the credit card and lenovo reps told me my computer has definately not shipped. I wouldn't be surprised if they need to rebook it again and I have to wait another month.

Congrats notebooktechie! I'd say it's been fun, but I would've rather not gone through this experience. Anyway, hopefully mine ships soon, but I doubt it.
