    URL didn't work.

Just to ask though, what exactly is the difference between the X60/X61 and X60s and X61s?

Reading through the Lenovo site, I've never been totally clear on what exactly the difference is, beyond that I think the X61s is a bit lighter.

but what makes it lighter? Is it also smaller, or is it missing features, etc?

main difference is the x60s uses an intel low voltage CPU. it's also slightly thinner and lighter, and uses an ultralight screen.

Don't know why the URL didn't work.

Re the X61 series (X61 X61s and X61t): it uses "Santa Rosa" -- the updated processor with faster FSB (800-MHz vs 667), new GPU (X3100), new WiFi chip (with 802.11n), etc. (see the Intel site). The X60 series was introduced in March '06; the X61 will be officially announced this month and (hopefully) shipped by August.
