Looks like the Y460 is out. Only two different models so far, not customizable, and a bit pricey.

Re: New Y460 and Y560 Ideapads
If the the price is justified with quality (build quality, display etc.), then it's ok.
A pity that there is not a fingerprint reader integrated into it.
"A gorgeous, LED hi-def screen with an ambient light sensor that auto-adjusts to your conditions, night or day. "
Doesn't sound too bad about the display. Perhaps we can expect a pretty good display now.

This guy from Thailand has this device already and has done a quick evaluation!
From the 3DMark06 scores, one can assume that the 5650 is underclocked. It should be higher.
Hope you can overclock it to its normal speed.Last edited by SSJ; 2nd March 2010 at 06:43 AM.

I dont see anything about the Rapid drive in the specs as well. Hope a customizable one comes out very soon. What wireless card is the intel wifi 1000?(B/G/N?) I was hoping to see an intel 6200-6300 in it.

Re: New Y460 and Y560 Ideapads
I can't wait, hope it will soon appear in Europe as well.
But I'm really confused with the configurations now
According to this page http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...18&PID=3640576 there are configurations with i3 330M/Intel HD and i5 520M/HD5650 and no mention of switchable graphics
Does it have really hybrid Radeon/Intel HD?
Configuration with i5 and HD5650 is OK, but quite pricey, I'd rather see i3+HD5650 for around 1000$. And next, prices should have started at 849$ and the lowest config with integrated GPU is for 1000$??Last edited by BazCZ; 2nd March 2010 at 11:32 AM.

Re: New Y460 and Y560 Ideapads
It has switchable graphics as the person from Thailand has tested it.
