That will vary depending on the condition laptop itself and if the component are still the original or if the HDD was replaced was of same or equal capacity and memory expanded or not? Intel based CPU will fetch a higher price then AMD CPU based laptop. Without really knowing that laptop background how much it was used and if it was in a dusty area or clean area. You can always go and check on ebay you will get a range for the price it sell at or bids start at and read their description of the laptop they sell. That would be the honest answer.

It is in great condition no scratches and very few fingerprint smudges. It is kept in a relatively clean area. Everything is original but I was thinking about upgrading the RAM to 8gb. Thank You

Looks like Newegg was selling this model refurbished for $519.99 Newegg.com - Refurbished: HP Pavilion dv6-6135DX Notebook AMD A-Series A8-3500M(1.5GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 640GB HDD Blu-Ray Drive AMD Radeon HD 6750M. My guess is you'd be able to get between $450 - $500 on eBay or Craigslist if it's in good shape.

Check Ebay and Craiglist and that should give you a idea as to where your asking price for your laptop would be able to sell at a good deal. But remember on Ebay they do take a commission for helping you to sell your laptop unless you have a ebay shop that sells alot of hardware.
