Re: *HP dv6t & dv7t (7XXX series) IVY BRIDGE Owners Lounge*
Not cool. I ordered 3 days before you and mine is only estimated to ship 1 day sooner than yours. (That would be a May 5th order and a May 21st estimate, for those who don't want to bother doing the math.)
I will say, though, that some people have seen their laptops ship a few days before the estimate (many, many pages back in the thread).I put time and effort into clearly and comprehensively answering questions. If I help you, I'd appreciate a bit of reputation in return =)
On the way:
HP Pavilion dv6t
i7-3610QM at 2.3 GHz | 2GB Nvidia Geforce GT 650M | 15.6" 1080p display | 8GB 1600MHz RAM | 7200rpm with a 32GB mSSD

Re: *HP dv6t & dv7t (7XXX series) IVY BRIDGE Owners Lounge*
I have the same configuration as yours. I kept everything default, and added the backlit keyboard. It seems like it depends on the configuration. HP Chat told me because they do "rigorous testing to make sure everything is working fine". If that's the case, they're not doing a good job. This is going to be my exchange for the dm4t.

I ordered mine on the 5th from Costco's HP customization service (1080p, 650m 1gig, backlit keyboard, bluetooth, etc), and it is slated for a May 18th shipment **crosses fingers**. Still no tracking # though.

Re: *HP dv6t & dv7t (7XXX series) IVY BRIDGE Owners Lounge*
Hmmm... Should I cancel my order to get the 33% discount? Upgrading to the SSD the order would still be $100 less.
What are you guys doing?

Hmm, bummer, Nvidia doesn't have the GT 650m listed on their drivers site and all the other 6 series GPU's are for Linux only.
