Out of curiousity: you say that it sometimes spikes to 2.396 GHz (and your screenshot shows that), but have you ever seen it at frequences between 1.5GHz and 2.3GHz? For example, at 1.8GHz or 1.9GHz? Also, I would be curious to see what happens if you run Cinebench with a single core as abaddon4180 said.
Never in between. It was either just south of 1.5 or 2.3.

Going to run cinebench on single core and 3dmark 2011 and 06 now.

The resoultion is 1366x768. HP dosen't have official drivers out yet, so once they do, you should be fine. Did you try the latest Catalyst?

Can you post your temperature readings from coretemp, hwmonitor, or everest?

Benchmarks are nice, but I want something juicier.

Does Minecraft and other OpenGL games run on the APU or GPU?

Run Hwinfo and post screenies of the application before and while you have a Minecraft window open.

I am just confused; does it has backlit keyboard? Customize option says only Standard Keyboard.

Yep, it looks like there is only 1 turbo speed. Still, it is disappointing and surprising that it can't at least put one or two of the cores at 2.4GHz with the IGP disabled. 35W should be enough for that.

Yes MW2 was ran at 1366x768.

If it helps anyone WOW runs at 30FPS avg with everything set to WOW's recommended settings and windowed mode.

Sure give me a bit as I'm knocking out requests as they come.

There is no bios option to disable IGP

No backlit keyboard just a ring around the trackpad (Which is more than enough for me in low lighting)
