    Hi guys,
I have recently gotten back into gaming on my dv6. I am having an issue updating my drivers. Whenever I try to install it I get a message about my system being incompatible and that I should contact my hardware manufacture. Any ideas?

My dv7t - 6100 touchpad has two finger scrolling, chiral scrolling, three finger flick and a whole lotta other features, I don't remember downloading anything specifically for this, but I do have a synaptcs icon on my taskbar that lets me adjust those touchpad settings. Guessing that the HP support assistant auto-update downloaded the driver.....??

as far as I remember u had to change something with notepad, i think it was a bat file.

Or you can use sapphire trixx, its much easier and no need to change anything

You usually get that error if you selected the 32bit driver for a 64 bit system. Maybe you clicked the wrong driver download?

I know the dv6t has at least partial support for UEFI, but is it enough to boot Windows from or are there any mods to allow it?

I'm looking into buying the dv6tqe and I was wondering if the mSSD Hard Drive Acceleration Cache works well and is generally a good idea and how the build quality of the laptop is. Thanks.

Hey cj I would not reccomend the mssd because the new dv6 is the first dv6 to support sata3. Electing the mssd would limit you to sata2 speeds. Most people end up installing a ssd. As for the build quality most people are saying it has improved a lot over last years.
