I tried IE9 RC and it is kind of not real intuitive. I like Chrome Browser. It seems easier to use.

Before I downloaded IE 9 RC I created a Restore Point. When I tried to get rid of IE9 RC with Your Uninstaller, which is usually very reliable, it couldn't find IE9 RC. I guess Microsoft buries it somewhere in the OS.

I used System Restore to get back to IE 8

Edit: I just installed this myself. It's listed as being installed in the Windows Programs and Features control panel, but it's not in my start menu or system tray. I found where it's installed on the drive, but running the various executable files in the folder seem to have no effect on anything. Very odd.
    Same issue here.

If anyone else is running Quick Launch, please weigh in. I'm at a loss why it's not loading up.

Default Re: HP DM1z: Chrome and f5 key

When I am surfing with Chrome, and I usually have the full page open, and I am using my tabs, when I go into a website using the tab, and even go further into that particular website and I want to just exit and get back to the tabs, I press f5 key and it takes me directly to the tabs, instead of having to press control+T.

Please diagram that sentence!! ; Kind of convoluted, but what I am trying to say is that when you are into a website pretty deep and you just want to get back to your tabs, hit f5.

Can someone confirm ...... when we do a fresh install of windows 7......If someone want to install a language version other than the native version sale with the computer.... his windows 7 code don't gonna work.

Example : DM1 sale with Windows 7 X64 english (have is code sticker)

If you try to install Windows 7 X64 French....the code don't work since the installation is not suppose to be french but english like sale originally.

I know we can use and download a language pack, but that's not my question. I don't want to use a language pack.

I want to know if the code give with the product (DM1,suppose to be english) when buy it,is the only choice of language when we do a re-install.

To be more clear...... if i do a fresh install of win 7 X64 BUT French... did Windows gonna tell me that the code i try to use is not suppose to be working for my language choice and force me to use a language pack after.

oh i just forgot to say.. for some of you who maybe having trouble with some drivers.... i read somewhere on other forum that...... Install a fresh windows 7 with already SP1 inside do some driver dont work after.
They said :1- Install fresh windows 7
    2- Install driver needed.
3- Only install SP1 after have done #1 and #2.
This way.. SP1 take these driver has originally install before him and don't screw them like he does if he is prior install before them.

    I hope this help.

+1. Slipstreamed SP1, did an install, installed remaining drivers -> no issue at all. much faster then stock OS!
