thanks in advance
Yes, but last time i checked they were sort of beta versions. Before installing use a program like driver sweeper uninstall previous nvidia GPU driver. hope it helps.

Cheers

I recently installed win 7 and resized my recovery partition. I have the files there unlocked but my HP recovery manger got deleted. I installed it back from HP Website but now its not letting me create recovery drive. Any ideas?

Can i burn a bootable USB from the recovery folder files ?

ya hp is very picky about the size of the recovery partition if you can try and resize it back to its original size i had the same issue with another hp after i cloned the harddrive to a new bigger drive and the size got changed and it would nolonger let me create the disks try resizing that partition back to close to its original size or a little bigger

With Window 7, I would simply do away with the HP recovery partition completely. Windows 7 allows you to backup your entire computer with a system image that you can store either on discs, or another hard drive partition. Only issue would be that you'll need to keep a recovery disc around in order to boot off of it in case you need to restore to a previous image... unless there's a way to create a bootable virtual disc drive...

Also anyone who knows the make of the dv3t camera. I shall really appreciate it.
I'm having this same problem. Did anyone find a solution to the webcam not working? My camra is detected as "USB Camera" but HP Mediasmart says "Cannot connect to your webcam ( USB Camera)."

I have connected an external webcam to make sure the software itself is working, and it is. I am at a loss for ideas.

Have anyone experience overheating issues with this laptop? My laptop (HP DV3T with NVidia graphics) would over heat and shut off after playing games in about less than 30min. CPU/GPU temps would reach 80 to 90 degrees C and eventually shutting off at 105. In past does run warm on playing games, but it haven't been shutting off until recently.

Any suggestions?
