    DIGITALPERSONA PERSONAL 3.01
    what i did....
    1) i extracted setup.exe with Universal Extractor so i had one folder with setup.msi

    2) i opened setup.msi with Orca software (After Orca is installed, the only important setting to insure is that under Tools/Options/Database the "Copy embedded streams during Save As." is checked!)
    3) i changed file setup.msi so:
Property --- PRODUCT SUBJET from 020 to 000 and save!

NOW you can install DigitalPersona 3.01 on xp

BUT doesnt work logon with finger...
someone can help me and want to try more???

Thank u ... thank u so much for this beautifully crafted guides and ur suggestions....

    i really need one thing....

this "Audio Device on High Defination Audio Bus".... Its comming as an "esclamation mark"... under audio section....

i followed the first guide as well as the 2nd one.. i put my swsetup in the drive (and also i thought it wud be a better idea as to put all the drivers that "roby32" uploaded on rapidshare.... by the name "MY_Drivers !!)

so what happens is.. when the application looks into the directory ... it finds NVidia High Defination Audio Driver.. and install it ... at halfway of installation... there are some nvcohd.dll and "one more.dll" file missing...

i m not able to setup those files or this particular driver.. rest everything is working fine.. even the brightness n all that.. !!

plz help me roby32 unknown00 or mujja.... plzzzz

Don't install QuickTouch. This is only the OSD display. It won't install under XP anyways, and it is really buggy (incase you do find a version that installs). Use the software I suggested in post 1 for a nice OSD instead.

If you have issues with the touch controls, remove QuickLaunch. It doesn't appear to be needed. Note there may be some funny things with the sleep quick launch (Fn-f5), but everything else seemed to work fine for me.

@xyzabcxx: The remote is not fully working. If yours is, please let us know. You can test simply by using media player. The play button doesn't work from memory, along with a few others. If it doesn't work full stop, you have the wrong driver. See post 1 for the best working driver so far.

    Edit: Duplicate post.

Also, if you have or have not the IDT sound control panel app, check post 1 for why. The SWSETUP driver is different from the Windows Update driver. One provides the control panel app (but digital mic issues for me in my limited testing), the other provided full functionality but no control panel app (who cares about that though?)
