Re: windows xp on dv5t - all drivers installed
Yeah, the mute light is a known bug for Windows XP.
For the sound driver, go into the "drivers" and then "audio" folder of SWSETUP
That should workmujjuman

Re: windows xp on dv5t - all drivers installed
xyzabcxx if you right click the unknown device and select properties it should give you a clue as to what it is. One that seems common is the HPQ004 device which is the HP Accelerometer / HP 3D DriveGuard.

Re: windows xp on dv5t - all drivers installed
Sorry xyzabcxx I should have explained a bit more thoroughly, you need to look under the 'detail' tab of the properties dialog box and select 'Device Instance Id', which is probably default anyway. You should then have something in the text box below if not try 'Hardware Ids'.

Re: windows xp on dv5t - all drivers installed
Device instance ID
ACPI\ENE0100\4&B310638&0
Hardware ID
*ENE0100
That is what is shown there.

Ok that's the infrared receiver, if there isn't a driver on this thread maybe you could try this one.
