The way I see it this is most likely a typo since the maintenance and service manual by hp says that it uses the newer anti glare screens but if this is true then that means that the maintenance and service manual is incorrect and there could be the possibility of other components not listed in it such as the i7-3820qm in the envy 15 so either way it is a beneficial situation.

Also, I kept clicking on stuff there and found myself on the "Store" site. Found the 3204tx there and even managed to add it to my shopping cart. Didn't get further than that (so no ship date estimate) since it required registering/logging in. Maybe someone else could try?

    Edit:
Here's the link for the product page on the store site:

You're right, it seems like it is available for sale. Just like the case of Envy 4 & 6 which are available first in Asia Pacific. but i am a Hong Kong guy...not Malaysia...

It is really a bit heavy in today's standard unless the AMD 7750M is far stronger than GT650M...i hope at least 15%...

Are the existing IPS screens really that bad with the red/violet issues? Has anyone managed to calibrate one yet and fix the colors?

there is a definite difference between normal reds and the ips red but when i compared it to a fhd screen on sony vaio aw, it was much better tho. but i do hope they got it fixed and there is a btetter screen

HP ENVY 15 IB weight is 2.63 kg which is around 5.8 pounds. Thats why i am looking at the Samsung Series 7 14inch its less than four pounds but only has 1600 X 900 screen which I think is good for 14inch as full HD would be overkill.

i would much rather have 1080p haha, its much easier to zoom in than to zoom out and remain readable . but if asus could fit 1080p ips screens in their 11-13 in zenbooks it shouldnt be a problem for samsung.. i will consider samsung when it got fhd

I am hoping in Computex we see something with IB 1080 and less then 5 pound and 14 inch...I had the ENVY 15 SB and returned it, not only because of the screen issue but because I found it to be quite heavy and big..

i think ima end up with the envy 15.. it sucks they got rid of the envy 14 i would have snatched it up if they had fhd, ivy, decent gfx and decently light weight... the spectre is nice but expensive and no gpu, and the ultrabooks have ulv processors and no decent gpu also

hopefully it releases b4 comptex so i can put in an order but i would still see what laptops are realesad then

Awesome! I hope that these coupons dont expire until after the new envy comes out even though that's prly super unlikely.
