Here are a few links to a non US HP site that is for the DV6 IB & DV7 IB and an Envy 17 non IB but with a Radeon 6850M

    DV6-7015ca or DV7-7025dx

    US Product # DV6 is B2P40UA & DV7 is B2P29UA

IB Processor - 2.30 GHz 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor with
Turbo Boost Technology up to 3.30 GHz In Both Machines

    Obviously Intel HD graphics 4000
    ------ In the DV6 you have the NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 630M graphics THere is a 650M Option
------ In the DV7 no upgrade or optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics with 2048MB of dedicated video memory

DV6 Less than Optimal 15.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit display (1366x768)
    DV7 Less than optimal 17.3-inch diagonal HD+ BrightView LED-backlit display (1600 x 900)
    DV7 17.3-inch diagonal Full HD Anti-glare LED-backlit display (1920 x 1080)

    DV6 Normal Keyboard
Dv7 Full-size island-style backlit keyboard with numeric keypad -- Yep thats right -- A backlit keyboard on the DV series -- Well it's about time and this will cut into the Envy Series as this was an option that made many people upgrade to the Envy series!

    DV6 & Dv7
    3 SuperSpeed USB 3.0
10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 connector)

    DV6 5.66 lbs
    DV7 6.94 lbs

And the normal DV Series specs

So here is the link and if the DV6 & DV7 has the IB then the Envy 15's & 17's can't be far behind... Or can they be?

Here's the leaked site, enjoy and speculate away :

    DV6
HP Pavilion dv6-7015ca Entertainment Notebook PC Product Specifications - HP technical support (Andorra - English)

    DV7
HP Pavilion dv7-7025dx Entertainment Notebook PC Product Specifications - HP technical support (Andorra - English)

    Upgraded DV7
HP Pavilion dv7-7012nr Entertainment Notebook PC Product Specification - HP technical support (Andorra - English)

Envy 17 with Radeon HD 6850M Graphics 1024MB GDDR5 and up to 4837MB
HP ENVY 17-2290nr 3D Edition Notebook PC Product Specifications - HP technical support (Andorra - English)

Looks to me the DV series will get the IB before the Envys
the envy 17 you posted was actually the previous gen lol. we waiting to c what 7xxxm cards are going to be put in the next refresh. also most people (who are interested in hp ivy bridge) know about the dv series refresh... but thanks tho

I only read the first post - I'm not very good at reading tech stuff like this in Chinese.

He said that the 7750M will be the same as the 7770M, only downclocked from 675 MHz to 575 MHz, while the 7850M will be a downclocked 7870M - from 800 MHz to 675 MHz. I believe he also said there will be no DDR3 variants. According to the poster, the 7750M will compete with the GDDR5 640M and the DDR3 650M, the 7770M with the GDDR5 650M, and the 7850M with the 660M.

After a little more looking, it looks like the discussion moves over to the 640M LE - which I believe is the Kepler 640M - discussing whether any machines other than the Lenovo y480 have it yet.

yeah they got wrong that part, the 640m LE is basically a gt430m/435m/540m/555m, its a fermi core. shader count is 96 or 144, if its the latter its the newer revision of the gt 555m the 5th variant of that card that as equipping the lg p330

alright thanks! +repped. well now then if the only card the envy offers is a 7750m... then thats not gonna be good but if its just the base card then its fine. I would like to c a 7850m (wouldnt mind 7870m ) and then i would oc it (if possible) to 7870m levels

After all of the misinformation which came from the Chinese forums in relation to the 7900M, I see no reason to just blindly believe what was said there.

underestimate is one thing, to pull what they did is completely another beast, they were totally off on what they said.

But the clocks should be around that area, so while skeptical, it can be true

Haha, I wondered if that was the case - I didn't remember whether the LE or the regular 640m was the Fermi one. However, the guy touting the 640M LE was definitely touting it as Kepler, so I think he just got confused.
