Anyone know if they will be making a Envy style gaming series? Heck all they would have to do is upgrade the GPU some better airflow. They could remove the ODD to make room, if they did they would have a real goldmine! I mean who would not want a powerful laptop that looks like a macbook :P

If they did this I would snap it up in a second. The only thing making me hesitate is i want to see better gfx and screen fix

All HP is lacking is a Proper CGN or Kepler Part with the right Themal Specs to replace that 7690M in there.

Yeah.. in a nutshell. I don't see HP building anything faster than a 660M level part. If anything, they will probably put a 640M or maybe something in the 77xx lineup in there.

Actually, they usually follow the dv6/dv7 series dont they? so it will probably be gt 630m+650m equivalent. gtx 660m would be a step up

However, most company execs are interested in what people want, especially if it is demand for a new product. They may not be able to do anything about it immediately, but it could shape direction and policy going forward.

The more people that ask nicely for a new product or feature, the of a "bug" is in their ear that there is a market for it.
