    Great! Let's pack it
BTW technically with this mod would be possible installing an Nvidia card on the old HDX motherboard with ATI, what do you think?

I have extracted hdx bios and found 4 nvidia related files two of them are identical

    C0000_G8E_.bin 48K
    C0000_G8E_.dec.bin 59K

    C0000_VIDE.bin 48K
    C0000_VIDE.dec.bin 59K

    someone know why?

Doesn't the ATI mobo have a smaller number of slots for the pins? The 8800 has more pins than the ATI.

you have 4 files because video bios is stored twice in bios file and hpunpack is creating original .bin file and 2nd decoded one dec.bin.

I will prepare for you new bios file to be tested but you need USB floppy to recover in case of a bad mod.

    notech:

Alphahex's point about the usb floppy is vital in order to protect your BIOS. Borrow one, or they can be gotten very inexpensively. I wouldn't test the mod without it.

And many thanks for all your hard work on this project!

    Hail notech!

I don't know! Can any one confirm?
I know Ati card does have less pins but does MXM slot is different than next gen motherboard?

First time I've read "May the incumbent bios fail to you!!"
