Re: ***ENVY 14 Gaming Lounge***
This is strange... I was trying to play dota and it seems that I can't click a hotkey then use the mouse immediately after, i have to wait for about 1 second before my mouse click registers... anyone else have this problem?

Re: ***ENVY 14 Gaming Lounge***
Although I'm sure it's been brought up already, but I get above 60 FPS constantly in Team Fortress 2, all maxed. It goes 80+ when you're not in firefights or anything.
Oh, maxes out TeS: Oblivion too. :PENVY 14 :: Name: Centurion

Re: ***ENVY 14 Gaming Lounge***
Does anyone have a basic rundown of the ENVY's problems during gaming (hardware or software) experiences? Please do share, and @2.0, if anything's interesting/relevant please add to the OP.

Re: ***ENVY 14 Gaming Lounge***
I tried running TF2 on my Envy, but with everything maxed I still get 30FPS or so during large fights in open field (High Tower, 24 Man?) Does anyone else experience this? Running an I7-720 and 5650 @ 500/800.
But while running around normally its 60-80 FPS. Are you guys putting everything on Max including Vsync and AA?

Is the general consensus that most games can be run at High/Highest settings? I don't intend to play too many FPS games.
On a related note, anyone know how well PC version of Gears of War runs?m17xr3 with i7-2720qm and ATI 6970m

Re: ***ENVY 14 Gaming Lounge***
Hey so how does the 5830 in the Envy 15 compare to the 5650 in the Envy 14? I like the Envy 14 overall considering the built in CD-Rom drive, and VGA port, but I'm worried the 5650 will be low powered compared to the 5830 for gaming. I would mostly be running starcraft 2 though.
