Wrong thread to ask, but I'll answer anyways. As I have said before, I don't have my Envy yet, so I cannot tell you how well it fits. But what I can tell you is that, personally, I think that it is pretty good quality. Its pretty slim, won't add much thickness so that I can still stuff it in my backpack, and it provides a cushion where the zipper is so that it does not come into contact with the laptop which I think is a nice touch to it. And when you zip up the bag completely, the zipper lining is not visible! I'll add a couple of pictures with it open and closed to show you guys later when I get off from work if you guys want.

(Please note that I have never owned a sleeve before so my comments on this may differ with more experienced people, this is just my opinion)

EDIT: As IKilledYourHamster mentioned, I think he is right about the sleeve not ripping. Everything seems solid for me.

If the MBP is your baseline for a touchpad then your going to be disappointed. Nothing is as good as a MBP touchpad.
No it's not, I see nothing in there about actual battery time, or if the trackpad is as bad as the 15's is, and I see nothing about actual heat on your lap.

HP's press release numbers mean nothing to me I want to see REAL numbers.

Updated album with new closeups of the sleeve. Primarily the zipper area.

I can't wait! My parents just moved up there (Whitefish) so I will be flying out of Atlanta and the day I arrive is the day I also am supposed to get my new laptop! It will be a very exciting time haha. We'll be hiking around Glacier National Park and I know we are going up to Calgery one day (passport came in today, more good news since they said 2-3 weeks which would be the week of me leaving.)

More on topic, what would the benefits be of purchasing Win7 Pro as opposed to home? I'm entering med school this August and they have a great deal on Microsoft software and am wondering if it would be worth it to wipe the drive and upgrade the OS.

Ok, sweet. I will do this tomorrow, since I'll likely be calling about it not shipping.

Dazed, I just got back from a 2-week trip in Yellowstone and the Tetons...it was awesome. Hope you have a great trip. Oh, and get used to traffic jams being buffalo/bison/deer/elk/bear crossing the roads!

To answer your question, I am getting W7Pro for its VPN settings. My school has a setup where we don't have to buy all the software (MATLAB, CAD/CAM stuff) if we log into their virtual machine. W7Home doesn't allow that. There are other things in it, but I personally won't be using them.
