Re: *OFFICIAL: HP ENVY 14 Owner's Lounge*
Can we get a post in the FAQ that says you canNOT use Bing cashback with any discounts (student 10%, coupons)? I swear I've read the same sequence of posts over a dozen times in the past week.

Re: *OFFICIAL: HP ENVY 14 Owner's Lounge*
I also just recieved my Dicota Messenger Bag, one day after my original shipping date for my Envy 14...
Very good deal at 13€ from Cyberport with shipping and all.. It seems to be good quality, provides good protection and has plenty space for cables, power adapters and some paper..
It just looks very sad, all empty and alone!
Come on, HP!
BTW, 2.0, can you link to these pictures on the first page? Its advertising pr0n, but for all those waiting it might help..Last edited by erathostenes; 30th June 2010 at 11:02 AM.

Re: *OFFICIAL: HP ENVY 14 Owner's Lounge*
I tried to be helpful and wrote tons of faq related information in my first several posts to the forum, but some of it was too subjective to be included in the faq, so 2.0 didn't want to link it. I have a complete list there of accesories, with part#'s and wattages for the batteries, the I/O layout, details on how computrace lojack works, a discussion of warranty service v.s. private insurance showing the pro's and con's, and also a list of rumors some of them I managed to clear up with HP envy technicians. It sucks for all that information to get buried, but anyone who needs to know something not in the FAQ you can look up my first posts under my profile.
P.S. can i get bcb after stacking 2 coupons onto my student discount? XD

Re: *OFFICIAL: HP ENVY 14 Owner's Lounge*
This is also some incorrect and/or misleading information in there that's also why I didn't link it. additionally, I'm not going to link accessories as that makes it appear as a recommendation. Can't in good conscious recommend some of those accessories as there are better reviewed third party ones available.
The good news is that some of the info is correct and objective but is also redundant. So the opening post echoes some of what you were hoping to have included.Brand new, secondhand.

Sieht sehr Europäisch aus. Was für ein glück das Sie Europäischer sind...
I don't know if an American could pull that bag off. Any better than I can pull off communicating in German anymore - blast the slow drain of disuse!
Personally, I've got the 14.5" Link Pattern sleeve coming - at around $25 with the student- + notebook purchase- + instant rebate- discounts, I figured it was worth checking out. I'm not sure how much use it'll get since I ride my bike everywhere, and I generally need more space (i.e. my messenger bag) when I go to work or travel, but I'd like to give the sleeve concept a go anyway.Old - Inspiron 1420 - T7500, 8400M GS, 3GB DDR2, 250GB 5400 RPM, Win 7 HP 64
