I've decided to take on the duty to post the latest drivers that are compatible with the following notebooks. It is part of my ongoing, informal commitment to help assist those who had performed clean installs on their HP notebooks. Please let me know if you find newer drivers or other devices so I can update this post!

Drivers

All of these drivers come from HP's website, Microsoft Update, and from other reputable websites (including other manufacturers). All of the drivers here are also WHQL Certified or digitally signed drivers, available as of the date when this post was updated. These drivers should be compatible with the notebook series stated above, but I am not responsible for technical difficulties that can occur as a result of improper driver installation!

Following along the same lines as the other driver threads, the process of installing and updating drivers is for ADVANCED/EXPERIENCED users only. Average users can use the drivers located at the HP support portals -- they're the safest and simplest way to go in terms of drivers for your specific model. Some of these drivers may work with notebooks other than the stated brand and models, but this is NOT guaranteed. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK -- only install these drivers if you know how to revert the changes that you have made should any problems be encountered.

Intel Chipset Device Software

Important Information
To ensure that all device drivers are updated, simply execute the downloaded setup file using the -overall parameter. Example: If you saved the downloaded file as infinst911autol.exe to the root directory of C: drive, you can launch the Run command (Windows key + R) and insert "C:\infinst911autol.exe -overall" in the Open field (without the quotes). Press OK to begin the interactive installation process. Starting with Intel Chipset Device Software package version 9.2.0.1016, the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver may become overwritten with the driver that exists in the package if it is installed. Should such an instance occur, reinstall the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver afterwards.

Intel Rapid Storage Technology

Important Information
Intel Rapid Storage Technology is the new name that replaces the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. It is highly recommended that you install this even if RAID is not configured on your system. See Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) - Product overview for more information. If you are having problems with the Interactive Setup wizard, use the INF Install method instead. This allows the driver to be installed using the Device Manager - Update Driver wizard. Once the driver is installed, you can try the Interactive Setup wizard again to ensure that the software is correctly installed.

Qualcomm Atheros Wireless LAN

Important Information
There may be newer versions of this driver available however none of them specifically support the ones built into these notebook models. This is the most compatible driver currently available. Only for notebooks with a Qualcomm Atheros AR wireless adapter! Do not install this if your notebook does not contain a Qualcomm Atheros-based wireless adapter! Use the Device Manager to verify your notebook's wireless hardware.

Make sure that you download the package that is applicable to the OS you are currently using. It is recommended that you uninstall all previous versions of the driver before installing the newest version. If you don't, the installation wizard will uninstall any old versions for you. You may have to relaunch the installation wizard to proceed with the actual installation of the new driver. Only for notebooks with a Realtek RTL8191SE / RTL8192SE wireless adapter! Do not install this if your notebook does not contain a Realtek-based wireless adapter! Use the Device Manager to verify your notebook's wireless hardware.

Intel Turbo Boost Technology

Important Information
It is strongly recommended that you remove all previous versions of the Intel Turbo Boost Technology driver before installing the newest version. Only install this if your notebook has an Intel Core i5 mobile processor! Do not install this on notebooks with a Core 2, Core i3, or Core i7 mobile processor. Intel HD Graphics

Important Information
Do not install this if your notebook contains an ATI/AMD graphics card or NVIDIA graphics card! This driver package is compatible only with notebooks that have an Intel 5-series or 6-series motherboard chipset with integrated graphics technology. It is strongly recommended that you remove all previous versions of the Intel graphics driver prior to installing the newest version. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 / 5450 / 5470 / 5650 / 6330 / 6370

Important Information
Do not install this if you have Intel HD Graphics or an NVIDIA graphics card! Includes the driver and the Catalyst Control Center configuration software. The current release is the most compatible driver available -- it specifically supports the ATI Mobility Radeon HD graphics cards for the dm4-1XXX, CQ32, dv5-2XXX, G32, and ENVY 14-1XXX. Driver packages released by HP additionally include an Intel graphics driver in order to use the built-in switchable graphics technology. It is strongly recommended that you remove all previous versions of the ATI Radeon graphics driver prior to installing the newest version. OPTIONAL: If you want to install the current reference driver provided by AMD, download and install it on top of the HP release. This is done so that the switchable graphics feature can continue to operate properly. Install the reference driver at your own risk! Although the driver is provided by AMD, it is not guaranteed that it will operate normally under all circumstances.

Broadcom 2070 / 20702 Bluetooth

Important Information
Only install this if your notebook contains an HP Integrated Bluetooth module or a Broadcom 2070/20702 Bluetooth module! Use the Device Manager to verify that this is the case. Please note that version 6.5 packages will, without your permission, install bloatware into the following directory - C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\EasyBits Games. You can safely remove the EasyBits Games folder and then run a registry scan (using third-party software) to remove any other evidence of EasyBits on your system.

Synaptics TouchPad / ClickPad

Important Information
This is the most compatible driver currently available for these notebooks. Newer versions may exist and work, but they are not fully compatible with certain functions (for customization, etc). Although not required, it is recommended that you uninstall all previous versions of the Synaptics TouchPad / ClickPad driver before installing the newest version.

Validity Fingerprint Reader

Important Information
Only install this if your notebook has a fingerprint reader! The current release supports the following Validity fingerprint sensors: VFS201, VFS300, VFS301, VFS421, VFS451. Remove all previous versions prior to installing the latest release. If the driver does not successfully install, use the Device Manager - Update Driver wizard instead.

Important Information
This driver is equivalently known as HP ProtectSmart for consumer notebooks and HP 3D DriveGuard for business notebooks. Drivers provided by the Microsoft Update Catalog must be installed using the Device Manager - Update Driver wizard. These releases do not include the additional software or control panel. Make sure you have the Intel Matrix Storage Manager or Intel Rapid Storage Technology installed first before you install this.

Right now, I'm currently trying to verify whether or not the Envy 14 includes USB 3.0. I will update on this issue once I can verify and will update the post if necessary.

EDIT:
From the product page, there only seems to be USB 2.0 ports on the Envy 14. Apologies if I had said documentation; I thought there was some available but I guess not at this time. I'm interested in seeing what tech support has to say about this. For now, I'll be removing the USB 3.0 drivers.

whats the best way to transfer the out of the box HP config to a new hard drive? I'm getting a momentus xt and replacing it as soon as my laptop arrives, and I've been told I should just image the old hd with acronis and then transfer it to the new HD? how will this work with windows activation, and will I have to reinstall all of these drivers? thanks and sorry if this is off topic

I reinstalled the Intel Rapid Storage Technology with the new driver posted (9.6.4.1002), and now it takes about 5 minutes for it to start running after system boot up. Grrr....

The initial time to boot after installing Intel Rapid Storage Technology should take longer than usual partially because it is re-detecting all the components that utilize the SATA controller(s). However, times should be faster than what you had posted for subsequent boots.
