Re: [Drivers] HP ENVY 14 (INTEL)
I have 2 Envy 14s so on one of them I did a clean install and on the other one I have the factory installed OS. I am just playing around with support assistant on one of my envy 14s and it does seem all kinds of crazy. It downloads and installs the updates but if I go to system restore it says no drivers or files were changed since the restore point meaning it seems the updates did nothing.
I notice some of the drivers you listed that point to somewhere on HP's ftp server don't list the envy 14 in the included README. However, for some of the drivers there is an identical driver version with a different SP number that does list the HP Envy 14 as supported.HP Envy 14: i5 520m | 4 GB (2 DIMM) | 256 GB SSD

Re: [Drivers] HP ENVY 14 (INTEL)
Right, HP releases multiple packages of the same driver with just different products supported in the CVA/HTML README for some reason. The packages are usually the same all around with the same compatibility. If I'm unsure about product support, I download the package and examine it.

Re: [Drivers] HP ENVY 14 (INTEL)
You're welcome!
I was updating the first post while your replied.
I've been doing a lot of research and added quite a bit of things to make the Intel dm4 (dm4t) and dv5 Gen 2 (dv5t) compatible.
08/10/2010
- Added BIOS for dm4 / dv5-2xxx / CQ32, version F.08.
08/11/2010
- Added Atheros Wireless LAN driver.
- Added LightScribe System Software.
- Added Validity Fingerprint Reader driver.
- Added Intel Graphics Media Accelerator / Intel HD Graphics driver.
- Added Realtek RTL8191SE / RTL8192SE Wireless LAN driver version 1091.2 for Windows Vista and 2016.2 for Windows 7.
- Updated HP Wireless Assistant to version 4.0.7.0.
- Renamed "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650" to "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450 / 5650."
To do: Add HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software for dm4, and add Ralink RT9030B Wireless LAN drivers.Pavilion dv6-7014nr (modified) / TouchPad 32GB

Re: [Drivers] HP ENVY 14 (INTEL)
Considering how intrusive simplepass can be (you can't get rid of the ugly popup that covers your menu picks at the upper left), you might want to consider also making a link to the old digital persona software on HP's site. It seems to work fine on the dm4, although the fingerprint LED doesn't work.

Re: [Drivers] HP dm4 / dv5 Gen 2 / ENVY 14 (INTEL)
I'm sorry. I'm new to this thread and saw your link from the dm4t thread. So I'm assuming all of these drivers are compatible with the dm4t? HP's FTP server seems to be down for now but I will try again later.
I'm assuming these drivers are all compatible with the laptops you listed? If so that'd be great! The drivers on the official HP dm4t driver page are really outdated. ATI Catalyst drivers from the ATI site are not compatible with switchable graphics so I'm glad to have seen this. I hope they work. Thanks!!

Re: [Drivers] HP dm4 / dv5 Gen 2 / CQ32 / ENVY 14 (INTEL)
Thanks for the info MrQ, the DigitalPersona Personal software was something that I was thinking of posting on the newer driver threads but decided against for now due to the lack of having the appropriate options that the newer notebooks featured.
I was thinking of putting version 6.5.5.18 of the one HP posted since it's unique to the dm3 and dm4, but it didn't look that great and it isn't by DigitalPersona...
Yes! The drivers here should now work with the current dm4t series. Please make sure you read the Important Information sections that I posted for each component on the first post -- some of the driver items listed on the first post will not be needed depending on your configuration and is why the notes are provided for guidance.Pavilion dv6-7014nr (modified) / TouchPad 32GB

Re: [Drivers] HP dm4 / dv5 Gen 2 / CQ32 / ENVY 14 (INTEL)
Meant for the newly supported dm4, dv5 Gen 2, and CQ32 notebooks that have a Ralink wireless card. Removal of previous versions is recommended before installing the newest version.
08/12/2010
- Added Ralink RT3090 Wireless LAN driver version 3.1.0.0.
Alternatively, driver updates are also posted on Ralink's website - http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=1Pavilion dv6-7014nr (modified) / TouchPad 32GB
