Re: Latest drivers: HP HDX16 / HDX18 (INTEL)
What driver/software handles the soft eject button -- QuickTouch or QuickButtons?? Could those names be more confusing?
My eject button does nothing under Windows 7 and I'm hoping to correct that!
Thanks for the excellent driver guide!Dell Inspiron 17R Special Edition

Re: Latest drivers: HP HDX16 / HDX18 (INTEL)
Original post has been updated; see changes below. Please note that the Realtek Ethernet/LAN driver link for Windows 7 may not be working due to a server issue regarding the download path. If this error occurs, try again a little later.
08/13/2009
- Updated Realtek Ethernet/LAN driver to version 7.005 for Windows 7.
- Added IDT High Definition Audio Codec version 5.10.6209.0 for Windows XP.
- Added Windows 7 designation to the IDT High Definition Audio Codec.

Justinkw1,
About the Added Windows 7 designation to the IDT High Definition Audio Codec, you just added.
I see this:
# Windows Vista x86, Windows 7 x86:
# Windows Vista x86, Windows 7 x64:
Isn't suppose to be:
# Windows Vista x86, Windows 7 x86:
# Windows Vista x64, Windows 7 x64:
?

Re: Latest drivers: HP HDX16 / HDX18 (INTEL)
@DJ-R: Thanks for finding another mistake. Fixed

@jonathan: Yes, these drivers work with the HDX16T (the "T" just means that it uses an Intel processor, which is what we have here). Please be sure to read the notes that I have posted for some of the drivers; they usually contain important information!Pavilion dv6-7014nr (modified) / TouchPad 32GB

Re: Latest drivers: HP HDX16 / HDX18 (INTEL)
Justin,
The 22nd of July I got 2 updates from Windows Update, one related to the IDT Audio Codec (which you have correctly reported, 6.10.6209.0), and another one related to the Realtek driver, made by Microsoft, which reports version 7.2.1127.2008, probably you can find a Microsoft cab for this one on the windows update site. It would be interesting to know the differences between this driver and realtek's latest, I think I'll stick to Microsoft's driver for now.
The last link you provided for RealTek's drivers, that opens up the homepage for the latest drivers points to the wrong chipset, the correct link is: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false
Thanks for your work...this thread is very useful.
