Just bumped into a new Atheros Wlan driver by Acer. Here's version 10.0.0.45 for Windows 7 64-bit. Working perfect.

    Indeed:

    (should be ACPI\HPQ0004)

JMicron JMB-38x card reader driver 1.0.68.0 by Lenovo. Although it's targetted for Windows 8, I confirm it's working on 7 too

Well here's updated driver and software for models in this thread...

HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Software 4.1.16.1
    Accelerometer driver 4.2.4.1

FIXES: - Fixes an issue where a system using a micro-SATA (mSATA) disk drive with Intel
Rapid Start Technology enabled stops functioning properly (hangs) when the
    system enters sleep mode (S3).

PREREQUISITES: - HP 3D DriveGuard support of RAID volume requires Intel Matrix Storage Manager
version 8.2.0.1001 D12 which provides a private interface for HP 3D DriveGuard.
    - Windows .NET 3.5 SP1 or later installed.

Edit: After running this update, for some reason driver does not seem to update. Version is still 4.2.3.1.

Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 9.2.0.496 by HP.

I'm not going to test this one because I'm using the 10.0.0.45 I posted earlier. I have to say It's the best WLAN driver I've used so far.

FIXES: - Fixes an intermittent issue which causes a blue screen event (BSOD) and error
code 0x7E to be displayed when the system resumes for sleep (S3) or hibernate
    (S4) modes.

I just applied this package. It seems to initially work but when I restart, the xD controller of the JMicron card reader is not working according to the Device Manager. It shows that the device cannot start, or that it cannot be initialized since there are not enough free resources available (code 12).

EDIT: Gave it one more go. I scanned for hardware changes in the Device Manager once it was installed, and the xD controller disappeared. Now there are three JMicron controllers instead of four...that is, until the laptop is rebooted. Restarting will cause the xD component to reappear (with an issue), and scanning for hardware changes will cause it to disappear again until the next reboot.

I manually updated the HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor through the Device Manager, and that seemed to do the trick.

I have a lot of updates to put up on the first post, and I apologize for not being able to do so...there are some drivers that I'll be adding up and some that I'll be removing shortly.

That's odd. I have no such issues with my card reader using 1.0.68.0 driver.

Then again my HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor driver refuses to update, even if I do it manually via Device Manager. The software updates fine. Go figure.

EDIT: 'Have Disk' method forced HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor driver to update.
