HP DV16 now has a Windows 7 section and it looks like they have added Media TV Smart or whatever its called under there for x86 and x64

One big problem with the new Bluetooth drivers, when I instaleld them and it upgraded the prior one I had which I got form this thread, it installed fine but now alot of my bluetooth options are missing. The most critical being my Audio tab. And now my bluetooth stereo headset no longer works and I cannot add it as a BT device, only my bt mouse works now.

Anyone have the prior BT driver version as this one has made by bluetooth essentially useless. Another feature its lacking is dialup modem drivers to use my cellphones internet connection with my dv16 via bt. Kinda blows.

I am aware that HP has begun to add a Windows 7 driver section, but it is far from complete at the moment.

There are currently a few minor problems with the Bluetooth software that come with the current driver (the driver itself works). A new update should be available soon that will hopefully fix some of these software problems (version 7.0 for Windows 7).

Hey justinkw1, there is a new Windows 7 driver update (Version 7.006) for "Realtek RTL8168C Gigabit Ethernet/LAN". (Well, the thread link already directs to this update but the thread's info needs to be update.)

My HDX16 will be here on Friday. I do have a couple of questions.

If I connect to my LG LCD via HDMI to DVI what resolution will I get?

You should be able to get both your LCD and HDTV to operate at their native resolutions using a DVI/HDMI connection.

Thanks for posting this update, however I will keep it off of the original post for now in hopes of a more official release (just use the LV2G link in the meantime). The changelog does not seem very informative about this particular release...

An application update to MediaSmart MVP is now available that "resolves an issue with the system losing the Internet connection when using a D-Link Wireless-N router." Version 2.2.2829 must be installed first before installing this patch (which is also available on the original post). I consider this application update optional since not everyone is affected, but it is nevertheless posted for those having this exact problem.
