Default HP NX6325 factory settings restore

    HY!
I just bought a new hp NX6325 and soon after I installed windows XP 64bit and didn't burn the recovery DVD's thinking I wouldn't need them because I had the recovery partition on my drive. But now when I whant to restore because most apps don't work I kan't and this is because the "Press F11 to begin recovery" option that should appear at boot time doesn't and no matter how long I press F11 it just boots up straight into windows. Please tell me what to do so I can restore my laptop to the factory state.

    Thank you.

Well, you should have burnt those recovery discs. The recovery partition wont work after the OS has been reinstalled since the boot manager gets replaced with the stock Windows manager. So you cannot get into the recovery partition. The only option I can think of right now is to contact HP and order the recovery DVD's. from them.

Give it a try and see if it works. It may or may not work considering you have XP 64bit.

Ok i installed a windows XP Oem copy and managed to install HP recovery system. Now when I try to load the program it just start to calculate the initial point of recovery and after that it says that I don't have enaugh free space. i think he is trying to squeeze all the files on my C partition and back them up on my recovery partition wich is 6 GB in size. After that the aplication exits and I don't have the option to burn my recovery DVDs anymore.
