DV 2000t:What's with display anyway?
I'm trying to configure the HP Dv2000t:
WXGA Widescreen (1280x800) VS WXGA Brightview Widescreen (1280x800)
Any noticeable difference?

The WXGA is just the screen with matte finish whereas the Brightview offers a glossy finish to the screen surface.

The glossy(brightview) screens tend to offer better brightness and colors but the only drawback is due to the glossy nature of the screen, they tend to reflect light very often. The matte on the other hand is just plan old LCD and wont be as vivid as brightview but do not suffer from the glare issues.

I admire you miner, you are so patient. Answering to the same questions all the time is pointless. This forum is very weird, PEOPLE DON'T USE SEARCH BUTTON.

Searching the forum is a good first step but many people dont do it. I think it is better to answer the question rather than getting angry at people. I have also advocated new members to search before posting, but sometimes it is just better to answer the question. I understand your frustration but thats how the way it is.

We are deviating a bit off topic here & since tonmax got the answer, the thread is Closed.Lenovo Thinkpad T400 Intel Core 2 Duo T9400, ATi HD3470/Intel GMA X4500, 160GB Intel 320 SSD/320GB Fujitsu MHZ2320BH G2 5400rpm HDD, 4GB DDR3 1066, 14.1" WXGA+ CCFL, Windows 8 Pro x64
