DV5000t gone?
Anyone knows if Hp is abandoning this model?
Went to the website and it's no longer there.
There's only the DV6000t available.
Anyone?

i believe so, i went to their website and i noticed that they do not sell the dv5000t anymore just dv5000z... i guess it is because of the dv6000t...

Any reason you went for the 5000t rather than the 6000t?

About 400 reasons why.
Glad I got mine in, I love the design so much mroe than the 6000, though I wish they offered imprint for the 5000.HP Customized dv5000t:
- Intel Core Duo T2500 - 2.0 ghz

- 1GB RAM
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network w/Bluetooth

I think they are going to phase out the 1000/5000/8000 series.
It is like a while-supply-lasts thing.

Thanks for the input.
I was lookink foward for a DV5000t.
I rather enjoy the look of the laptop and the pcmcia port wuold come in handy.
With any luck they only phase it out in Portugal in a couple of months.
