FWIW, my stuck keys problem has diminished over time. Maybe the keyboards just need to be broken in? Not that I'm excusing HP for not getting it right the first time, laptop keyboards no longer being bleeding edge technology and all.

You're probably best off following the massive stuck keys thread. The dv8000 series has the same problem, if not worse.

Well, not to be mean, but if you are going to contribute to an English language thread, you might as well learn English first.

"being bleeding edge technology and all": I was making a sarcastic comment about HP's failure to make a correctly working keyboard.

"best off following": the stuck keys thread I linked to is the most appropriate place to get answers for your questions.

szabodabo: I suspect we should all go back to using Latin as the universal language, though I'd miss tormenting foreigners with English .

Regardless the keyboard sucks, my shift, ctrl, and the left arrow keys sometimes get stuck. Meaning once its pressed, it stays down. Piece of crap machine, and HP support doesn't give a rats about you. Lesson learned= never buy from hp again.

Try using a USB mouse instead of the touchpad. Since I have used an external mouse I haven't had a single problem.
