Stuttering/lagging during videos and games....

It just started last night. There are times during videos and games where the screen will lag on the last frame and the sound will create a buzzing sound from the speakers (as if it's trying to play too much sound at once due to the lag).

I don't know what to do. it happes every 5-10 minutes and is very annoying. tried system restore and problem persists...

I hope it isn't a hardware issue since I have the lame warranty where I have to ship it to China to get fixed. I can't afford to have it away from me for that long.
