Customizing an HP Outside the US?
I know on HP's site in the US, you can customize the internals/add accessories, etc. I'd like to customize one, but I can't do it on the Canadian site. What's the best way, if any, to do this? If it matters, I'm looking at the dv6.
Lenovo ThinkPad W530 | Intel Core-i7 3720QM | 1080p FHD | 500GB 7200RPM HDD | 320GB 7200RPM HDD in Ultrabay Caddy || NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB | 16GB RAM || Intel Ultimate-N | Bluetooth 4.0 | Three-Year Basic Warranty |

Re: Customizing an HP Outside the US?
HP in the USA will only ship to:
1) A USA address.
2) A credit card issued to and billed to a USA address.
The exception is:
Armed force personal stationed out of the country.
Both of us,,,,have to find or know/do business with someone in the USA to get a CTO ordered, warranty repairs could be an issue, best to check into that before hand.
The 2 above rules apply also for Canada, all though there is no CTO here.
I will sell my ENVY 17-3290nr 3D warranty replacement when I get it and purchase an Alienware 18"
I'm so (content removed) tired of HP, NEVER again with their products.
OH,,,and by the way,,,,,
HP is falsely advertising that the Envy 17-3290nr 3D has WiDi and switchable graphics,,,,,it doesn't,,,,,it can't,,,,,never will.
There is going to be a s#!t load of them returned for the non 3D version,,,,,HP FAIL again.
