    Default Big Proplem With HP

    hey iam ahmed

    ihave hp i3 laptop

    it's getting overheating

    and i buy notebook cooling pad

    the proplem is

    PCSX2 And Dolphin Emulator And Pc Games And all The Emulators
    Was Run Fast

    but now all the emulators and the games run too slow

    anybody know any thing to fix this ?

    First of all: What MODEL of laptop do you have? It might be possible to re-apply the thermal paste.

    According to the maintenance manual located here,

    it's not going to be easy getting to the cpu to re-apply the thermal paste. That alone would resolve the issue (Fingers crossed) but for now I'd go with the second option:
    Gently get yourself an air-line and blow the dust out from the where the fan sits. Be gentle as you wouldn't want to break any of the fan blades.

    Please install this and let us know what the machine idles at:


    On another note the i3 should run quite cool so there might not be an issue or one that I can help with as I don't use those emulators or know what/how they do what they do. Reply with your temperatures. One for idle and the other for when you're running your emulator.
